The Journey: 90 Days Into the Entrepreneurial Journey

I’ll celebrate the first 90 days of my new business on my birthday. It’s as if I gave myself the gift of striking out on my own, and my birthday represents the close of quarter one. Although some days are more challenging than others, I reflect on how fortunate I am to be able to do this and have fun doing it. I can live the skills I wrote about in my first book, The Trilogy of Yes – communication, connection, and cooperation.


We’ve accomplished a lot together in the first 90 days. We have aggressive milestones for the next 90. I’m excited to welcome the next steps and experience the journey’s next chapter.


1st 90 Day Milestones


  • Launched the podcast The Sales Warrior Within with more than a dozen episodes released. Evolve and bring forward the #saleswarriorwithin.

  • Invited to speak at TEDx. #yesif will be making it to the big stage shortly.

  • Welcomed as a coach at The Honor Foundation, a non-profit focused on helping Special Operation Forces transition from military to civilian life. I am proud to be a part of my talented fellow’s journey to private life.

  • Multiple client engagements including: The Trilogy of Yes speaking and training sessions, ‘Yes, if’ in Sales & Leadership speaking and training courses, coaching a talented Sales Vice President to become a dynamic two-way player, going global – the business is now growing beyond the USA border with training events in Canada.

  • The Trilogy of Yes audiobook published on Audible and iTunes

  • Social media ramping up to keep the learning, insights, and content fresh and valuable

  • Sharing the journey through the Newsletter.

  • Fifteen weeks of Milwaukee Lakefront Marathon training completed!


2nd 90 Day Goals


  • Deliver TEDx #yesif speech on October 5

  • Crush 26.2 miles of the marathon… Finish with a smile

  • Continue to deliver value and innovation to my clients, so their teams and leaders become stronger

  • Produce and release my first online course offering

  • Finish writing my second book for launch in early 2020

  • Extend the social media presence. More content, across more platforms, more frequently.

  • Share helpful interviews on The Sales Warrior Within podcast

  • Welcome new talented people to the team so we can scale faster.
